Primary 4D and 4H Homework due 1.4.14

Remember all homework is given out on a Wednesday and due in on the following Tuesday.

Homework this week is reduced as you will soon be on holiday.

This week you have not been provided with an extra task to do with your reading book. Your target is to ensure that your reading record is up-to-date as this is the last week of reading before the Easter holiday.

Topic

This is a 2 week project - this is the second week of this task.

As part of our investigation into water we are also investigating how much water you use in your home.

Week 2 - Your task is to:-
(a) complete your chart (using tally marks) to discover how often water is used in your home for different reasons.

(b) Look at your data - can you spot an unusual activity ?
eg less/more drinking of water on a particular day - why was that - was no one at home/was it a hot day?
The washing machine was used 2 times in one day - why?

You will need to bring your data to school as we will use it to plot graphs.
