P4 - Wed 30 April 2014

Primary 4D and 4H Homework due 6.5.14
Remember all homework is given out on a Wednesday and due in on the following Tuesday.

Reading
Please see your reading record for the pages you are being asked to read this week.
Your task this week is a  'Connective Challenge'. You should find 4 interesting connectives from the pages you are reading for this week's homework. (Note they should be 4 different connectives).

You should complete the sheet provided and write a sentence using each connective. Each sentence should be something to do with the book you are reading, eg write about a character, setting or plot.
  
Spelling
You have a list of  words to learn this week which are linked to our project on electricity undertaken at the end of the last term.  - 
To practise your words you can either use the various activities on spelling city or if you do not have access to this website then write the words in 'invisible' ink on someones back.

Maths

'Data Handling'.

Data can be presented in many different ways, including using:
'Carroll' diagrams, Bar and Pie charts.

Use the following online activities to help consolidate your knowledge.

ICT - Being safe on the Internet

This is a 2 week project - this is the first week with final completion due for the 14 May. You might want to watch the films one week and create your poster the following week.
